Thistle Complete Interior Fit Out for Careys PLC

Thistle Systems' Interiors Team has completed the design and fit out of the new Scottish Headquarters for Careys PLC, one of the UK's top 100 construction contractors.

Careys were looking to transform the open plan into a modern office environment with private office areas for their senior management team ,an executive board room with break out areas and a dedicated IT suite.

Working to a tight budget, Thistle Systems' solution featured full height glass partitioning panels to maintain the feeling of light and space whilst delivering the required space. They also incorporated glass fins into the partitioning of the IT suite to continue the seamless glazing to the entire frontage.

To enable the company to continue their operations during the fit out, the full contract had to be completed out with Careys' office hours.

Thistle Systems expertise in project management combined with their ability to call upon all their resources, who worked round the clock to get the job done, enabled the contract to be completed over two weekends.

Thistle's Project Manager, Paul Hayes explained "This was a perfect example of our ability to use all our experience in fast track office fit outs to create a solution that delivered their objectives, could be completed in the available time with minimal disruption, but most of all meet their budget."

Careys Project Manager said " We were delighted with the quality of finish and the overall service that we received from Thistle Systems in the fit out of our offices. As a result of the successful completion of the office fit out, Thistle were also commissioned to complete the design, manufacture and installation of the reception desk for the new offices.
