Thistle Fit Out Enables Monarch Transport to Sublet Office Space

Thistle Systems has transformed the headquarters of Monarch Transport, one of the UK's leading specialist haulage contractors, with a fit out that includes the creation a self contained office area which the company plans to sub let.

Working closely with the management team, Thistle's interiors team carried out a full space planning exercise to assess the company's needs and developed a solution that provided Monarch with 3 private offices together with a meeting area, an open plan working environment, a storage facility and a kitchen.

Using glazed partitioning systems to form the office areas, Thistle delivered a stunning office environment that was designed to maximise the available budget and completed well within the scheduled time.

Thistle also created a 6m x 8m area with self contained kitchen facilities which Monarch intend to sub-let.

Thistle Systems' Project Manager, Paul Hayes, explained, "We are working with an increasing number of companies who are now re-assessing the space they have in their offices and are looking at ways in which they can either create additional revenue streams or minimise their expenditure."

He continued, "By working directly with Monarch's management team at the design stage, we could discuss the variety of options available and the potential impact on costs before agreeing upon a final design. This process saves significant time and costs for everyone involved in the project."
