Thistle Appoint New Project Health and Safety Manager
Thistle Systems Group, one of the country's leading solutions providers for storage equipments and corporate interiors, has appointed Stewart MacDonald as Group Project Health and Safety manager, to reinforce its impeccable H&S record.
Stewart has over 10 years experience with Thistle where he has been working as a project manager in Thistle Storage Equipment looking after key clients in the Retail, Pharmaceuticals and Construction sectors.
Stewart recently graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Glasgow Caledonian University where he undertook his studies as day release whilst continuing to carry out his day to day duties at Thistle.
The new position will see Stewart take full responsibility for all aspects of the groups health and safety strategy and will report directly to the Board of Directors.
Stewart explained, "Thistle has always maintained a superb record in this area however the company is looking to build on our position in the market and Health and Safety will play a crucial role in providing clients with the awesome customer service we are now famous for."
Group Managing Director, Mike Cairns, added, "Stewart brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the post having worked in all of our major disciplines including coordination, project management and design."
