Thistle Announce Three Major Contract Successes

Thistle Systems has reinforced its position as one the UK's leading specialists in storage solutions and mezzanine floors with the announcement that it has secured three major contracts worth in excess of £250,000.

Thistle secured the contract to design, supply and install the racking, shelving and lockers for the new £70million Motherwell College campus which is being developed on the former Ravenscraig site.

Thistle will be installing its storage equipment in the workshops, teaching blocks and general stores and follows on from the company's recent success in supplying a mezzanine floor for South Lanarkshire College.

Thistle has also secured the contract to design, manufacture and install a 40 square metre mezzanine floor in the biggest wind farm in central Europe for Scottish Power. Thistle's ability to carry out Interior works through the Corporate Interiors division is also being called upon to address some minor M&E works and integrate the mezzanine to a fire corridor.

The company has also commenced works on the installation of storage equipment for Lothian and Borders Police which will see Thistle supply a range of storage solutions to various aspects of the Headquarters' refurbishment.
