Mezzanine Floor Installed and Retail Storage For Boots

Thistle Systems has completed the manufacture and installation of a 30 square metre mezzanine floor and supplied the accompanying shelving systems in the warehouse  of leading high street retailer, Boots, at their store in Galashiels.

Working with designs supplied by the appointed consulted, Thistle won the contract via competitive tender based on their price, their approach to project management and their zero defect guarantee.

As well as the installation of the mezzanine floor, Thistle also demonstrated their expertise in retail storage solutions by supplying the longspan shelving which housed the mobile gondolas used for rapid stock replenishment  and the euro shelving for heavier products.

Thistle also created a security storage facility in the warehouse using their shelving system and fitting lockable mesh panels for high value products and items which may be subject to theft.

Thistle's Project Manager, Stephen McCormick, explained "Whilst we specialise in providing the complete mezzanine solution from design through building warrant stage and to installation, we are more than equipped to taken on these types of project s where deadlines are absolutely critical."

 He continued, "Our expertise in providing shelving and racking for the retail sector means that we can also project manage all the associated storage requirements and advise on the best design to maximise capacity and improve productivity."
