Thistle Fit Out Plumbline's Flagship Scottish Branch

Thistle Systems' expertise and unrivalled experience in merchant fit outs has once again been demonstrated with the completion of Plumbline's flagship Scottish branch in East Kilbride.

Servicing Glasgow and west central Scotland, the 1600 square foot branch is the first Plumbline store in the country to feature the new Plumbline kitchen range and the management team were keen to ensure the sales area was completed to the highest possible standards.

With such a key store in the Scottish region complete, Thistle's interior fit out team designed a phased works schedule that enabled the branch to remain trading during the entire programme whilst still achieving the tight deadline.

The project saw the Thistle team to strip out the existing sales area of all sanitary ware, floor coverings, wet walls and island units, including plumbing and electrics and create the fresh new look that the branch manager was looking to achieve.

The works package included the installation of new display units to house the sanitary ware, new wet wall panels, provision of power supplies to the sales area and laying of vinyl flooring to meet the heavy traffic flows of the busy branch.
